How to run the ticket inbox on a project
This lives under Projects, on the Tickets tab. It is the intake inbox: problems, questions, requests, feedback. Delivery work stays on the task board. Discovery stays on Ideas. Tickets and tasks are different on purpose. Do not reuse a task for intake.
If Support is off for this workspace, the Tickets tab is hidden. The Projects tour skips that step. A form or an inbound webhook can still write ticket rows if a workflow targets tickets.
How to open the inbox
- Open Projects. Pick a project in the left tree.
- Click Tickets. The board loads for that project.
- Columns are status. You can group by type, priority, or channel. Filter and search sit on the toolbar, same as the task board.
How to add a ticket
- Type a title at the bottom of a column and press Enter (quick add). Paste several lines to add several tickets.
- Or click + on a column header to start a ticket already in that status.
- Or click header +. That opens the full create form for this view.
- Set type, priority, channel, and requester (a user, a contact, or an email).
- Drag the card when the status changes. Click the card to open the right-hand panel. Fields save as you go.
Example: a visitor submits “The login page is blank” on a public form. The ticket lands here. You open it, set priority to High, assign yourself, drag it to In Progress.
A form can create a ticket when it is wired that way. See Forms. An outside tool can push one in through an inbound webhook. See Integrations.
How to escalate or resolve
- Open the ticket.
- Escalate when it becomes real delivery work (link a task) or discovery (link an idea). The work then lives on that card, not only on the ticket.
- Resolve when you are done. The ticket keeps its history.
Overview on the same project can show a ticket-queue chart. Click a slice when it is wired to open that list. Project chat is not this inbox. Sparkles is the page assistant.
