CRM Assistant: the agent that keeps companies, contacts and deals in order
The CRM Assistant is the agent behind the sparkles button on your CRM page. It knows about companies, contacts and deals, and it works with the records on the screen in front of you. You stop copying a deal into another tool just to ask what changed or what to do next.
Worknano is customizable with AI, focused on core functionality, and uses the same UI, UX and database in every module. The CRM Assistant follows that idea: it works on the data you already see on the CRM page, with no separate sales database.
What it does
- Finds and reads records. It looks up companies, contacts and deals by name, and reads the comments, messages, approvals, activity history and emails attached to them.
- Moves deals. Ask it to advance a deal to a stage and it proposes the change to the stage field.
- Creates linked records. It searches for a company or contact by name before creating a new one, and links contacts and deals to the right company.
- Answers with numbers. Totals and breakdowns, for example deals per stage, come from counting the data, not from reading every row.
- Researches public companies. When you ask for it, it searches the web for public information about a company.
- Checks data quality. It can run the data hygiene rules on your CRM records and help fill the gaps.
When it helps
- Monday morning: "Which open deals have no owner?" You get a short list with links, and you can assign them in one confirmed batch.
- After a call: "Move the Northwind deal to Negotiation and add a contact for Anna Lopez at that company." The assistant finds the company, links the new contact and shows both changes first.
- Before a meeting: "Summarise what we know about this company." It reads the notes and activity on the record, and adds public information only if you ask for it.
How it works with your data
The assistant only reads what you are allowed to read. It uses the same permissions as the CRM page, so a deal you cannot open stays closed to it too. Every create, update or delete is queued as a preview. You confirm it, or you discard it. Nothing is written before that.
It runs on a fast model by default. If a value has no field yet, it does not invent one. It stores the value in a custom field only when the parent record already defines that label. Otherwise it hands you over to the configuration assistant so you can add a proper field.
It does not send emails and it does not decide which deals matter. It prepares and proposes, you decide.
Make it yours
Every agent in Worknano is a record in the Agents module. Open the CRM Assistant there and you can change its instructions, model, temperature and tools. You can duplicate it for a second pipeline, or start from a blank agent. The guide Build your own agent walks through it, and How to edit a page assistant and a reusable agent shows where the settings live. For the personal view of your own deals, see My Agent.
