Web File Agent: drafts and revises the content of a website file
Websites in Worknano are files, like documents and boards. The Web File Agent is the specialist that drafts or revises the content of such a website file. You describe the site or the change, and it returns an updated site definition that the editor understands.
It is a small, focused agent. It does one job: produce a valid website file. For the editor itself, see the website builder.
What it does
- Drafts a site from a description of what you want on it.
- Revises an existing site. When it receives the current file, it keeps the site settings and the pages and changes only what your request needs.
- Returns only the file content. There are no explanations around it, which keeps the result clean enough to save.
It does not publish a site, register a domain or set up hosting. It does not create images either. For images, see the Image File Agent.
When it helps
- You need a first version of a landing page for a new service. You describe the sections, and you get a draft to refine in the editor.
- A page needs a new section. You ask for it, and the other pages stay as they are.
- You want to reword a call to action across the site. The agent changes the text and keeps the structure.
How it works with your data
The Web File Agent has no tools. It cannot read your records, search your files or save anything. It works only with the request and the existing site content that it is given. The Docs Assistant hands this over from the Docs page and writes the returned content into the file.
Because it only drafts, check the result in the editor before you publish. A published file gets a public link that works without login, so review the text for anything that should stay internal. It runs on a fast model by default.
Make it yours
This agent is a record in the Agents module. Its instructions are short, which makes it a good first agent to read and adapt. You can add your brand voice, change the model or temperature, or duplicate it for a second site with different rules. Build your own agent explains the options, and How to edit a page assistant and a reusable agent shows where to edit. For short marketing copy, the Content Writer agent complements this one.
