OKR Assistant: updates and explains your OKRs in plain words
OKR work is a lot of small edits and the same questions every week. What is the status of the AdminOps objectives? Set this key result to 75. Copy these key results under another objective. OKR Assistant is the assistant behind the sparkles button on the OKR page, and it understands how the page labels things.
Worknano is customisable with AI, focused on core functionality, and uses the same UI, UX and database across modules. OKRs are normal records. The assistant is a faster way to work with them.
What it does
- Reads objectives, key results, projects and teams, and uses the period you have on screen. Without a filter, it uses the current year and quarter.
- Understands the screen labels. O-426 is the objective with id 426, and KR2 is the second key result from the top of the list shown, not an id.
- Updates the current value of a key result when you say "set it to 75", and lets progress and status follow. You can also mark one achieved.
- Distinguishes copying from moving. Copy creates new key results under the other objective, with that objective's team and division. Moving changes the parent.
- Sets up a live count when your wording names something countable, such as done tasks or open deals, so the value is calculated and not typed in.
- Summarises progress for a division, team or program, grouped by status for the period.
- Checks for missing or stale OKR data and works through it one rule at a time.
When it helps
- Weekly check-in. You open an objective and say "update the responsible to Sam". Because the record is open, the assistant does not search. It targets that record.
- Quarter planning. You ask it to copy last quarter's key results to a new objective. It shows the new rows as a preview, and you confirm.
- Leadership question. "How are the OKRs of the AdminOps team doing?" You get a count by status for the period, with no manual filtering.
How it works with your data
OKR Assistant only reads what the signed-in user may read, within the team scope of the page. Every create, update or delete goes through a preview that you confirm. It never sends a progress value itself, because the server calculates progress from the current value and the target. It runs on a fast model with tools to read, search, count, group, create and update records, check data hygiene, draw diagrams and open the configuration assistant for structural questions.
What it does not do
- It does not write without your confirmation.
- It does not guess when a label is ambiguous. If KR2 does not match the record you have open, it asks one short question.
- It does not add fields that the OKR models do not have. Changing the structure goes through the configuration assistant.
For tasks and projects use Task Assistant, and for checks on missing responsible, due date or first value, see Data Hygiene Assistant.
Make it yours
OKR Assistant is a record in the Agents module. You can change its instructions to fit your OKR method, switch the model or temperature, trim its tools, duplicate it for another cycle, or start blank.
