Generic Assistant Planner: the assistant behind your page sparkles

Updated 2026-10-15

Most pages in Worknano have an assistant behind the sparkles button. Some pages have a specialised one, such as Task Assistant on Projects. Generic Assistant Planner is the general one. It works on a page without special rules and answers in short, practical replies, based on the models that belong to that page.

This is the Worknano idea in one place: customisable with AI, focused on core functionality, and the same UI, UX and database across modules. One assistant pattern works the same way on every page.

What it does

When it helps

How it works with your data

The assistant only reads what the signed-in user may read, with the same permissions as the rest of the product. Every write goes through a preview, and you confirm before it is applied. It runs with the tools listed above, on a fast model, and it receives the models of the current page, who you are, the record you have open and a short memory of the conversation. It does not see records on other pages unless it can reach them through the tools and your permissions.

Long conversations are compacted by Assistant Memory Summarizer, so the assistant keeps the thread.

What it does not do

Make it yours

Generic Assistant Planner is a record in the Agents module, like the specialised assistants. Change its instructions, model, temperature and tools, duplicate it as the starting point for a page-specific assistant, or start blank.
