Form Designer: drafts a complete form from a short description
You know what you want to ask. Building it question by question in the form editor takes longer than it should. Form Designer turns a plain description into a complete form draft: steps, groups, questions, choices, scoring and logic. It runs behind the assistant's form proposals, so you ask in words and get a form to review.
Worknano stays focused on core functionality. Forms use the same UI, the same UX and the same database as every other module, and AI helps you customise it instead of replacing it.
What it does
- Designs one whole form per request, split into steps and groups. Simple contact forms get one step, surveys and assessments get several.
- Picks the right question type for each answer: text, long text, email, whole number, decimal, range, yes or no, date, single choice, multiple choice, a workspace user or a link to another record.
- Writes the answer options for choice questions in the language of your request, so a German request gives German labels.
- Adds scores to the options when you ask for a quiz or an assessment, and sets how the scores are added up.
- Adds conditional logic: show or hide a question, skip ahead, send the respondent elsewhere or show a message, based on earlier answers.
- Maps answers to fields of an existing model when you want submissions to land in your data, for example a lead form that creates contacts.
When it helps
- A customer feedback survey. You describe the audience and the five things you want to learn. You get a short multi-step survey with sensible answer choices.
- A lead qualification form. You ask for scoring based on timing and budget. Each answer carries points, and the form maps name and email to your contact fields.
- An internal request. You need a simple intake for equipment requests, visible only inside the workspace. You say it is internal and the draft is not public.
How it works with your data
Form Designer has one tool: it can look at the forms you already have, so it avoids building a duplicate. It does not write anything itself. It hands the draft back to the assistant, the form is created with the status Draft, and you review, change and publish it yourself. When you ask for a data mapping, it only uses model names that exist in your workspace. It does not invent new ones.
It runs on a fast model, because a form draft is a structured task and not a long conversation. Forms and their results follow the normal permissions of your workspace.
What it does not do
- It does not publish a form. Every draft starts as a draft.
- It does not create new models for the mapping. If the target model is missing, build it first, with Model Designer for example.
- It does not decide your questions for you. A vague description gives a generic form, so name the audience and the decisions the answers should support.
Make it yours
Form Designer is a record in the Agents module like every other agent. You can change its instructions, model, temperature and tools, duplicate it for a house style such as shorter forms with more choices, or start from a blank agent for something different.
