Organization: directory, org chart, and brand studio
This page is the company directory and brand studio. Open Organization in the left sidebar. The left sidebar on this page switches sections. There is no top tab bar. The breadcrumb shows Organization and the section you picked. Click a crumb to jump back.
People, teams, roles, and company info stay on this page. A few jobs have their own docs because people look them up by name. Walk me or ? starts a live walkthrough of the sections you can open.
How to invite a user
- Click Users in the left sidebar. The list is colleagues: name, email, title, role.
- Click header + when your role allows it. That invites someone.
- Set their role, team, and whether the account is active.
- Save. Guests see less of the workspace. Founders see everything.
Example: invite [email protected] as a Member on the Sales team, leave the account active. Search the list by name or email. Do not invent ids.
How to add a team or unit
Team-only workspaces show a flat Teams list. When a wider level exists, that list becomes Units: one tree of divisions and teams.
- Click Teams, or Units when that button replaced Teams.
- Header + follows this workspace’s levels. A selected row gets the next level under it. The tooltip says Add Team to that name, for example Add Team to Design. Nothing selected adds a top-level unit.
- + Add on a row adds the child under that row. The bottom row adds a top-level unit.
- Each row shows a colored chip for that level (widest level darkest). Click a row to set members. Search by name or email.
Example: add Sam Lee to Design by searching Sam, not by typing a number. A lead usually adds people.
Roles, org info, and settings
- Roles. Read-only descriptions of Founder, Director, Lead, Member, Collaborator, Guest. You assign a role on the person. You do not invent a new role from this list. Who can create or delete a record is set under Config → Permissions.
- Organization info. Legal name, address, and company profile used on invoices and public pages. Founder and Director.
- Settings. Tagline, brand voice for the assistant, default page after login, and options for public pages. Module settings live here, not in Config.
Pages that live under Organization
- Org chart
- Secrets
- Generators
- Announcements
- Brand kit (logos, colors, fonts, guidelines, email frame)
Sparkles or Ctrl/Cmd+J opens the Organization assistant. It helps with people, invites, the org tree, announcements, generators, secrets, and brand voice. Back to the docs map.
