How to add a page with the assistant or by hand
This lives under Config, on the Pages tab. Pages are the left-sidebar screens: My, Projects, CRM. Here you choose the layout, the tabs, and which list or form sits on each section. The app, the server, and the assistants all read this setup. Change things carefully. Not everyone sees Config.
Do not invent a whole page for one setting. Reuse a section.
How to add a page with the assistant
- Open Config. Click Pages.
- Each card is a sidebar page. A yellow DRAFT badge means it is not saved for everyone yet.
- Click the Add New Page card (dashed border), or the sparkles button on that card, or header +. The Config assistant opens.
- Describe what the page should contain. Example: “A page for equipment: list of machines, a form to add one, and a tab for maintenance logs.”
- The assistant proposes the page change. Review it. Apply it. The proposal lands as a draft.
- Save all changes when the draft looks right. Until then only you see the draft card.
You can also open an existing card and ask the assistant to edit that page.
How to add a page by hand
- On the Add New Page card, click the pen (Add manually).
- Set name, label, icon, and layout. Add sections: which component binds to which model, tabs, paths.
- The preview on the right shows the layout as you go.
- Save as draft, then save all changes.
Open a card later to edit sections, tabs, and paths. The record types themselves are Models. Who can open the page is Permissions. The sparkles drawer on any page is the page assistant.
